God's Desire of His People
is not just a DAY of Prayer but a W.A.Y. of Prayer
Prayer is a conversation with God.
Prayer is bringing my will in line with God's will and plan.
Prayer is a demonstration of our trust in God.
Prayer is an awesome priviledge granted by God.
A Day of Prayer or a W.A.Y. of Prayer? Prayer is one of the most important privilege of the Christian
Life. In Luke 11:1- Lord, teach us to pray.....," was the one thing
that the disciples asked of Jesus. They linked Jesus' prayer life with
His public life. The only way to stay through is to pray through. God has
not called us to a DAY of prayer but a W.A.Y. of prayer:

Jesus did give some general guidelines and rules concerning prayer in the
model prayer we refer to as the Lord's Prayer - Matthew 6:9-12. There are
three (3) elements of prayer:

The Power of Intercessory Prayer " ......pray one for another....." ---James
5:16
Intercession is the very holiest exercise of our boldness as God's children.
When a man is bold and asks from God what he desires for others, he seeks
to bring down on one, hundreds and thousands the power of the eternal life
with all its blessings. It is the power of being used by God as instruments
for His great work of making men His habitation and showing forth His glory.
