YOUTH BIBLE STUDY
Becoming An Equipping Church
The youth Bible Study meets on Wednesday night at 7:15 PM. Youth are placed in groups according to their grade in school, with the exception of the little ones. Our groups are as follows:
2 - 5 Year Olds
1st and 2nd Grades
3rd and 4th Grades
5th and 6th Grades
7th and 8th Grades
9th and 10th Grades
11th and 12th Grades
During this session of the Bible Academy, the youth are studying the Book of James, as they explore the Nature of Wisdom. The Eight lessons out of this New Testament Book and their objectives are:

Introduction
James 1:1-19
Who was James?
To Whom did James Write?
Why did James Write?

To identify the writer of the book of James
To identify the people to whom James wrote his letter
To explore the idea of why James wrote his letter

Wisdom Defined
James 3:13-18
objectives:
To define “heavenly wisdom”
To define what it means to be self-seeking
To recognize the characteristics of human wisdom
Lesson III
Wisdom in Temptation
James 1:13-18
objectives:
Define what is meant by temptation
Identify how we are tempted
Explain what we must do not to be tempted

Wisdom in conflict and Wars
James 4:1-12
objectives:
To explore why we are at war
To explore different types of war
To explore a solution to war

Explore the idea of planning according to God’s Will
Explore three different types of attitudes toward God’s Will
Explore the idea of what God’s will really is
